With just 426 short days left until the tournament begins, UEFA have released a trailer video to begin whetting our appetites for Euro 2020.

Lifting heavily from the Game of Thrones opening titles, the video depicts all the various holds/host cities on a stylised map rendered in UEFA’s chosen day-glo ‘Noddy in Toyland’ aesthetic…

Who will sit upon the Euro 2020 throne, in association with Coca Cola and Mastercard?

Yeah, the Game of Thrones pastiche is fairly cool, but this video is a timely reminder of how ridiculous Euro 2020 and its cross-continent sprawl is going to be, especially for fans trying to follow their national team through a group stage potentially spread across thousands of miles.

Like UEFA give a toss…

Yeah, plus a winter, slave world cup coming…these are the golden years indeed.

I guess that theme (or at least something GOT-ish) was already used in Russia last year, no?
