Unsurprisingly, a lot of the English press are getting a little bit carried away with England’s 3-2 win in Berlin on Saturday night. However, the victory did showcase the talents of the Three Lions’ new generation of stars, with Harry Kane netting a superb goal for the visitors, via a rather timely ‘Cruyff turn’.
Germany were 2-0 up, courtesy of goals from Toni Kroos and Mario Gomez, before Kane kickstarted the comeback on 61 minutes. The Spurs’ man pulled off a deft turn before firing into the far corner with aplomb (one of my fave words)…

Sub Jamie Vardy and then Eric Dier, with a last-gasp winner, secured a fine win for Roy Hodgson’s men, while Dele Alli also put in a superb shift in midfield.
