Gylfi Sigurdsson was once again the star-man for Swansea in the Premier League, with the playmaker’s impressive haul of 13 assists helping the Welsh side to dodge relegation under Paul Clement.
Not surprisingly, the 27-year-old is being eyed by a number of top-flight clubs, with both Everton and Leicester reported to be preparing a bid for the £30m-rated former Spurs man.
Eager not to lose their star player, some Swansea fans have decided to produce a musical plea to the midfielder to stay at the Liberty Stadium, channeling East 17’s ‘Stay Another Day’ in an utterly cringeworthy aural crime…
A 50 second plea with Gylfi to stay in Swansea. Mind you, this’ll probably make the poor bastard scarper! pic.twitter.com/WOjpIzCHXT

Appalling!
As for Sigurdsson himself, surely he deserves a spell at a bigger club than Swansea as he enters his peak years?
He may not have quite made the grade at Tottenham, but one imagines he’d be a lot better equipped this time around to shine at a club with European aspirations.
