Bayern Munich are currently perched high atop the Bundesliga table, 20 (twenty!) points clear of Borussia Dortmund in second and yet to taste defeat so far this season – winning all but two of their domestic league games.
Indeed, the last time Bayern lost in the Bundesliga was against Bayer Leverkusen on October 28th, 2012 – roughly 17 months ago.
To whit, a stat has emerged (courtesy of Opta) which eloquently sums up Bayern’s utter and complete dominance over the course of their recent league fixtures…
6 – Bayern Munich needed so few saves that they wouldn’t have lost any of the last 6 Bundesliga games even without a keeper. Consideration.

Just think about that.
Bayern. Munich. Don’t. Need. A. Goalkeeper. Any. More.
Game over, everyone else. Game over.
