As the 2018/19 season lumbers on toward conclusion, it very much looks like Liverpool and Man City are going to take the Premier League title chase to the wire.
The numbers involved are fairly simple. After both sides won on Sunday, top-of-the-table Liverpool now have four league games remaining while City have five left in which to make up a two-point deficit on the leaders.
However, when City fan Joe rang into BBC 5 Live to discuss the run-in with Conor McNamara and Chris Sutton, things got off to a muddled start and went downhill from there due to the former’s steadfast failure to grasp the mechanics of the situation…
"We can afford to lose or draw at United!"
When you just don't understand what having a game in hand means 🙈😳
