With Burnley riding high in the Premier League after an impressive start to the campaign, the club’s fans have started to entertain thoughts of qualifying for European football for the very first time.
The Clarets are currently dangling up in sixth place (and one point off the top five) with 14 games, leading a local pub have taken the opportunity to up the ante by making a wager with manager Sean Dyche.
The Princess Royal, which is literally just down the street from Turf Moor, have promised to not only allow Dyche free libations for life should he guide his merry band into the Europa League, but to also rename the establishment in his honour.
The gaffer keeps on raising the bar!
Last year, free drinks.,,

As shared by Burnley’s official Twitter account, the Princess Royal have placed a sign outside the pub which is addressed to Dyche personally and reads thus:
Sean, get us into [the Europa League] and not only will you drink here for free, we will name this pub ‘The Dyche’.
Whether the pub will also start serving celebratory breaded ham platters and throat lozenges in honour of their victorious gaffer remains to be seen.
