*That* ponytail: for shame, for shame
Here we have yet another Grade ‘A’ Youtube unearthing from Pies’ favourite footballing archaeologist, @DavidHartrick (we urge you to follow him on Twitter, you won’t be disappointed), in the shape of ‘Gazza’s Italian Diaries’: a full-length documentary centred around the loony England man’s time in Serie A with Lazio – a club at which he is still sincerely revered – in the early-to-mid 1990s which aired on Channel 4 (who had the rights to show live Italian football at the time) back in 1994.
Some of it is incredibly poignant and revealing (the very first candid anecdote about the wonky towel is a case in point), especially when you know what the future held in store for ‘oor Gazza’…
