As we just uttered over on Twitter, El Clasico (and Spanish football in general by extension) really is an infuriating mix of sublime technical ability and everyone involved acting like complete and utter pussbags.
Oh, by the way, Messi’s goal was another record-breaker with the wee man now being the highest goalscorer in El Clasico history – moving out in front of former record holder Alfredo Di Stefano on 19 goals.
