During Saturday’s League One Essex derby between Southend United and Colchester United at Roots Hall, one of the home fans decided to take on the entire away section all by himself.
The brave/stupid fan eluded the stewards and ran across the corner of the pitch towards the U’s fans before throwing a few punches like an utter loon. Here’s a few of the best (of a plethora of) clips of the bizarre incident…

Utter madness. Luckily things didn’t escalate after the incident but one hopes the eejit in question will get some some anger management therapy ASAP.
Oh, and Southend won the game 3-0, which sees them go seventh, while Colchester stay bottom.
