Young Argentinian Lad Becomes Local Celebrity For Looking Almost Exactly Like Mesut Ozil (Video)

By Chris Wright

A 13-year-old lad from Tucuman in Argentina has become somewhat of a local celebrity in his neck of the woods after it came to people’s attention that he bears a more than passing resemblance to one Mesut Ozil – though quite how the blatant similarity hadn’t been noticed before is anyone’s guess!

Gonzalo Galvan currently plays for his neighbourhood soccer school team, Villa Santillan, and came to prominence after a regional television station conducted an interview with him. Shortly thereafter, ‘The Mesut Ozil of Tucuman’ went viral.

According to his interview, Galvan apparently likes to play as a No.10 for Santillan, meaning that he obviously shares more than just an over-active thyroid gland with his Arsenal doppelganger.

Ah, Graves Disease, is that it’s name? I’ve been refering to Ozil as having a touch of the ‘Marty Feldmans’.
