Feisty words from Cesc Fabregas about Man City after Arsenal’s 3-0 win at Eastlands on Sunday:

Even if they were 15 [players] and we were 11 we would still go and win.

We always want to go forward and create chances but the way we played, we were very difficult to stop. I think we were fantastic.

I think we played some outstanding football and it’s difficult to stop a side when they play at that tempo.

Hmm, a wee exaggeration, but there’s no doubt that Arsenal played well against City’s battling ten men and fully deserved to win. But who can possibly know what might have happened in an even-sided contest?

    and watch the interview again. He said they’d always go for the win, irrespective how many players City had in their team.
