Photos: Arsenal 4-1 AZ Alkmaar, Champions League

Men against boys at the Emirates, and this time Arsenal were the men. The gulf in class between the two teams was enormous.

Arsenal’s goals were scored by Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Abou Diaby. Jeremain Lens bagged a late consolation for the visitors.

Fabregas in particular was immense. Is there a better 22-year-old player in the world? No, definitely not. With the Spaniard and Robin van Persie now established as the team’s two senior creative players, I really think this time Wenger’s side can challenge for serious silverware this season. The title-race is between Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal, no one else.

“Is there a better 22-year-old player in the world?” Aguero and Messi(even though I hate barcelona) I think are better. Aguero is immense, just a bit unlucky he plays for a team well below his level, just wait until he joins one of the big clubs (hopefully Chelsea), it will be a storm on the pitch.

You forgot to mention Arshavin, he was great last night! 3 assists in his style, great passes- leaving no option for last night’s goal scores but to score. Good to see him coming back to his usual form
