The first goal wasn’t much to look at, but Tevez’s second and third strikes were very cool finishes.

Regrets, Fergie’s had a few. Indeed, if I was a Man Utd fan, I’d find it hard not to resent my gaffer for the ham-fisted, pig-headed way he forced Carlito out of Old Trafford; Rooney and Tevez certainly trumps Rooney and Berbatov, Rooney and Owen… hell, Rooney and any other striker currently on United’s books. Slight hindsightism here, admittedly, as Tevez often flattered to deceive in a red shirt, whereas he seems happy and full of confidence in the Sky Blue of City.

That’s eight goals for Tevez in his last seven Prem appearances – and of course the minute I put him in my fantasy team, he’ll stop scoring. So, for the sanity of City fans, I won’t do that.
