After a year out, Blackburn Rovers came roaring back into the Championship on Tuesday night with a 0-1 win at Doncaster Rovers.
Charlie Mulgrew’s late winner saw Tony Mowbray’s side mathematically secure their place in the League One automatic promotion spots, capping off a fine season for Rovers in which they’ve lost in the league just once since mid-October.
As you might expect, the relief was palpable among the travelling fans at full-time, with Rovers supporters charging onto the pitch at the Keepmoat to celebrate.
However, Donny’s grounds staff were prepared for this eventually, and immediately turned on the sprinklers in an attempt to disperse the marauding hordes…

Not that the Blackburn fans look remotely fazed.
