Nope. Puma King’s should be monochrome (with trace flecks of gold) and look like they could survive a nuclear apocalypse if asked. This just ain’t right.
All part of the slow homogenisation of the ‘classic’ boot designs into the gaudy, lightweight, flaky, plastic-y nonsense that parade as ‘elite’ boots these days – or maybe we’re thinking too hard? Gosh, what are we REALLY angry about?

Typical for Puma – ugly and boring.
I’ve always been annoyed at Puma’s need to constantly ‘update’ the Puma King. A classic boot alongside the Adidas Copa Mundial worn by Pele, Maradona and Cryuff, why are they trying to fuck things up for themselves so much?
