Oh dear, this Roberto Mancini experiment might be over before it’s begun. There are already rumblings that Mancini might not even make it to the end of the season as City boss. Such rumblings might be deemed ridiculous were it not for the fact that I could see it happening.

With this loss at Stoke, City’s last chance of winning silverware in 09-10 left town. And Mancini’s fragile reputation got knocked again.

Fair play to Stoke, they outlasted City and finished strongly. Dave Kitson opened the scoring in the 79th minute opener but Craig Bellamy equalised a couple of minutes later. Almost immediately after Bellamy’s goal, Emmanuel Adebayor was sent off for raising an arm at Ryan Shawcross – arguably a harsh decision – before Shawcross headed Stoke in front five minutes into extra time. Tuncay’s smart strike sealed the win and a quarter-final showdown with Chelsea. That will be physical.

If City don’t finish fourth now, Mancini could be on his way out.

Fair play to Stoke you say, Go fuk yourself numbnuts, City were only 10 men and a duff referee was what it took to beat Manchester City.

Stoke are a fuking joke club and the sooner they go down the better for English football.

Over-loud potter fuks, you take your scalp and choke on it as lets face it, its all you will ever win.

  2. theres only one city says:

@CiTyBlUe ‘City were only 10 men and a duff referee’
so when we draw with you with only 10 men and the next game we get a goal disallowed at the end that wasnt a foul its all good and fair?

Funny how fans change what they say when an arab owns the club and only one player goes to celebrate the goal with Bellamy… you lot have no passion a whole team that cares and puts in a full shift for the game and think you can buy silverware.

And if your comeback is what has Stoke won my answer is the autoglass trophy and two times at that.

  3. Jamo says:

CityBlue, how are those grapes tasting?

So it’s fine for us to get done by a dodgy decision in the league game last week but when you (rightly) get a player sent off the whole world is against you?

    Grow up.

  4. Loudandproud says:

A lesson in football and passion for Moneybags City and their feeble glory-seeking support.
Watch them crawl back into the woodwork.
    Up The Potters!

  5. Will says:

    “John Terry’s your dad…
    John Terry’s your daaaaaaad…
    Shaun Wright-Phillips…
    John Terry’s your dad…”

    Goarn Stoke!
