With the Premier League’s internal contest to commemorate Armistice Day becoming more and more competitive every year, Leicester City pulled out all the stops for their 11th November fixture against West Brom.
Along with a pre-match wreath laying, the Foxes’ team of artisan groundstaff once again used their canvas (i.e, the King Power pitch) to put on their own tribute to the fallen.
Indeed, along with the usual geometric mowing, they went and manicured little poppies into the playing surface…
All well and good, but just you wait until FIFA hear about this in eight months’ time.
