Hatem Ben Arfa may have missed out on a place in Didier Deschamps’ latest France squad, but the Nice attacking midfielder continues to shine in Ligue 1, netting another superb goal against GFC Ajaccio on Sunday.
On 14 minutes, the former Newcastle and Hull wideman waltzed past two players before side-stepping another and firing the ball into the back of the GFC Ajaccio net. Silky stuff…

That goal helped Nice to a 3-0 home win, a result which sees Les Aiglons go third in the Ligue 1 table, just two points behind second-placed Monaco. As for Ajaccio, they drop to 18th.
Now with 12 league goals this season in France, it’s good to see Ben Arfa back on form after a disappointing time in England.
As for Les Bleus, with the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Dimitri Payet, Anthony Martial and Kingsley Coman all eyeing the attacking midfield berths, it will be hard for Ben Arfa to secure his place in the squad for EURO 2016, despite his impressive displays this season.
