A little bird has whispered in Pies’ ears that Arsenal are on the cusp of securing the £10 million signing of Lorient defender Laurent Koscielny , and it is thought that the 24-year-old’s move to the Emirates will be officially rubber-stamped later this afternoon.

    This has been in the offing for a fair while now. A Lorient director has confirmed the move as well.

    Koscielny and Vermaelen, who would’ve guessed this CB pairing a year ago?

    Hes going to be crap, why don’t we ever sign quality well established players. All this talk of, Mexes, Ozil, Van Der Vaart, Joe Cole ect. Will never happen because there quality players and we dont buy them. we buy mediocre players from a team that finished 7TH! in the FRENCH! league. Sort it out Arsene. I belive in the man with all my heart, but this is to low.
