Barcelona Issue Cesc Fabregas With Timely Reminder Of Their Love

By Chris Wright

Since it’s been about three weeks since they last reminded Cesc Fabregas of his Catalan roots, Barcelona have today seen fit to ensure the Arsenal captain that he is still very much in their thoughts.

So said Barca’s director of football Andoni Zubizarreta this morning:

“I have not spoken to (Arsene) Wenger about a guarantee for the transfer next season. Cesc is a very good footballer, but now I do not say if he enters into our plans for the next season.

We will value the player, and we will decide. We will plan, and see if Cesc falls into that plan or not.”

With another transfer window looming, Barca’s ubiquitous media barrage of praise and adulation is slowly gathering pace once again.
