1. Fernando Torres to Chelsea
Managerless Chelsea will make an audacious £50 million bid for Liverpool star Fernando Torres. Roman Abramovich has given chief executive Peter Kenyon permission to double the amount the Reds paid for the Spaniard last season. [Daily Mail]
2. Dani Guiza to Arsenal
The Real Mallorca striker and La Liga top scorer is a target for Arsenal. Arsene Wenger sees the Spain international as a potential replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor. [Goal]
3. Liam Fontaine to Liverpool
Rafa Benitez wants to spend £1 million on taking Bristol City defender Fontaine to Anfield. The 22-year-old has impressed the Spaniard and Liverpool will make a move now City have failed to secure promotion to the Premier League. [Mirror]


4. Giovani dos Santos to Tottenham
Barcelona’s young Mexican is wanted by Spurs in a £7 million deal. The 19-year-old is also wanted by Chelsea and Manchester City, but Juande Ramos is at the front of the queue. [Daily Mail]
5. Michael Bradley to Middlesbrough
Gareth Southgate is hoping the USA star will take time out of preparations for the friendly against England to discuss a potential move to the Riverside. Dutch side Heerenveen are prepared to sell, but not cheaply.

6. Richard Dunne to Aston Villa

Manchester City’s Richard Dunne – who has more transfer speculation going on around him than Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment – is a £4 million target for Aston Villa. Martin O’Neill sees the Republic of Ireland international as the perfect replacement for Olof Mellberg. [Daily Mail]
