Hull City 2-1 KSC Lokeren (Agg: 2-2 – Lokeren win on away goals) – Europa League Qualifying – 28th August 2014

A Robbie Brady brace wasn’t enough to stop Hull’s maiden European campaign ending prematurely despite a 2-1 win against Lokeren.

Irishman brady netted early doors but the Belgians levelled soon after the break, courtesy of a goal from Jordan Remacle made it 1-1. Brady then struck again, this time with a penalty but ultimately the Tigers couldn’t find that all important third goal to give them an aggregate advantage. The sending off of Yannock Sagbo on 71 minuts didn;t help matters for Steve Bruce who bow out courtesy of the pesky away goals rule.
