Things go from bad to worse for Alan Pardew and West Ham

The Sun reports that the incident kicked off after Harewood lost possession in a practice game.

And if that wasn’t bad enough for Hammers fans, the Mirror claims Sven Goran Eriksson is now the firm favourite to replace Pardew. West Ham officials apparently held secret talks with Eriksson last week and he would be brought in immediately if the Hammers lose to Blackburn on Sunday. Chairman Terence Brown has also given Pardew a watered down version of the dreaded vote of confidence.
