Manchester United secured a 2-1 win over Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday, with Paul Pogba scoring one and assisting the other.
However, Pogba’s goal came after a quite outlandish run-up for penalty, which was saved by Jordan Pickford before the Frenchman tapped home the rebound.
Pogba baby-stepped his way up to the ball in near slow-motion, taking an incredible 28 steps before making contact with the ball…
Bizarre stuff which almost back-fired.
Indeed, Pogba’s run-up took longer than Usain Bolt to run a 100m…

Everton were incensed by the initial decision to give the penalty, with Idrissa Gueye looking to have got a touch on the back before making contact with Anthony Martial.

Pogba’s goal came on 27 minutes, with the midfielder then setting up fellow-countryman Martial, who produced an outstanding curling first-time finish.
United were, once again, not at their best and a Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty late on made for a very finale for the home fans.
However, Jose Mourinho’s side would hold on, and find themselves in eighth spot, nine points behind leaders Liverpool.
Everton are one place and two points behind the Red Devils.
