The dream continues for Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City side, who find themselves five points clear in the race for the Premier League title after a deserved 3-1 win away to Manchester City.

Ex-Chelsea centre-half Robert Huth was the star of the show for the Foxes, netting two headers for the visitors, who were sharper and quicker than their heavyweight hosts throughout the 90 minutes. Sleek schemer Riyad Mahrez also added to his goal tally for the season against a City side who always looked vulnerable at the back.

Sergio Aguero did get one back for the Citizens late on, but overall Leicester were well worth the victory. That win sees the Foxes go a sizeable five points clear of second-placed Tottenham. However, with 13 games still to play, there is still time for  many more twists and turns (and collapses). Although for now at least, the impossible just got a little more possible!

From 5000/1 rank outsiders at the star of the season to 6/4 favourites following their Etihad win, this is turning out to be some season for Ranieri’s men, and one which could end in an unprecedented title win. What a turnaround from last season’s relegation battle! Indeed, if Leicester were a Chinese swimmer, the sporting media would certainly be asking questions!
