Megabucks summer-signing Paul Pogba was the star of the show for Manchester United on Thursday night, with the Frenchman netting a brace as Manchester United cruised to a 4-1 win against Fenerbahce.

With Wayne Rooney in the starting XI, the Red Devils struggled to create much in the first-half until the visitors gave away two penalties.

Pogba fired home his spot-kick after Simon Kjaer fouled Juan Mata before Anthony Martial made it 2-0 from the spot after a push from Sener Ozbayrakli.

Just before half-time, the best moment of the match took place, with Pogba netting a superb curling effort which lit up Old Trafford.

After the break, Jesse Lingard made it four via a fine effort from outside the box.

Then, on 83 minutes, ex-United striker Robin van Persie bagged a consolation goal for the Turkish side, a goal which was greeted warmly by the Old Trafford faithful.

The easy win sees Jose Mourinho’s charges go level with Feyenoord on six points at the top of Group A, two ahead of Fenerbahce.
