Everton’s Dan Gosling Out For Nine Months With Serious Knee Injury

The exact moment when Everton’s Dan Gosling crocked his knee in a collision with Wolves goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann
Everton starlet Dan Gosling won’t be back in action until 2011 at the earliest (!), after suffering a serious knee injury against Wolves last weekend.
Everton physio Mick Rathbone revealed: “Our worst fears have been confirmed. Dan has ruptured his cruciate ligament and will unfortunately be out for up to nine months.”
Boo. This sucks. No fault attached to Hahnemann, who was doing what any keeper would do in the same situation, i.e. rush out and clatter the opposition. Pure bad luck. Suddenly Wazza’s sprain seems paltry by comparison.
Get well soon, Dan.
