Three Napoli Ultras Charged With Attempted Murder Over Liverpool Attacks

By Chris Wright

Three of the Napoli ultras that stabbed and maimed Liverpool fans in a series of unprovoked attacks early this morning have been charged with attempted murder by an Italian court.

From The Telegraph:

“Three men – Mirko Fiorentino, Gerardo Lucio and Marco Marzano – were arrested in connection with the attack and have been charged with attempted murder.

A variety of weapons – including cudgels, knives, a baseball bat, an iron bar studded with screws and a plank of wood fitted with nails – were recovered, along with ultra flags and literature, at the scene and the homes of the accused.”

UEFA are yet to comment.

What a bunch of disgraceful cowards. I bet they think are somehow “hard” because they carry baseball bats, knives and all other manner of weapons and our fans have only flags & banners to support our team. They don’t seem to realise that it is only a game. And to do this to Liverpool fans is even more disrespectful. Of all the teams in the world none have known tragedy among supporters like Liverpool have. Someone needs to put a stop to these idiotic, malicious italian fans ruining football. A ban with games being played with no fans there and an automatic win to Liverpool would teach them a lesson.
