Rumours: Arsenal interested in tiny Barcelona striker

According to the Star (I know, I know), Arsenal have asked Barcelona about the availability of 19-year-old striker Bojan Krkic.
Good idea, Arsene – what Arsenal really need is another tiny young forward who can be served up as a starter to the likes of Chris Samba, Nemanja Vidic and Abdoulaye Faye.
Krkic is a very talented fox in the box – more so than Eduardo, who sadly looks like he might never fully recover from his broken leg – but surely Arsenal should be looking for a big man to complement their array of miniature forwards?
Someone like Emile Heskey or Carlton Cole would work well in tandem with Arshavin, for example. Hell, even Bobby Zamora could do some damage in the box, just to create chances for more skilful players (i.e. everyone else).
Of course, with the benefit of hindsight, Wenger should have re-signed Nicola Anelka from Man City five years ago, but hey, that ship has sailed.

We only ever seem to go for small players, is it because they’re “cheaper” if we buy more than one!!!!
Surely Vela could already fulfil the role that Bojan would play?
In Arsene we trust rain or shine or if Arsenal don’t win any trophy its ok. The gunners play the best/pretty soccer in the epl. Now the
Welsh rugby chief says he wants to win ugly rather than play pretty rugby and getting nowhere.
If this season ends in another heartache,we have next season to look forward. As everybody knows in the Chelsea game the gunners were bullied. A win over Stoke doesn’t mean the gunners are back inthe race. The next five matches will tell us whether the gunners have the stomach to fight for 50-50 balls with the big boys.
as everybody knows the font line guys must be sufficient physique to pose athreat otherwise it will be back to square one.
I think you’ve been unfair when you describe him as a starter. Unfair to the defenders, that is. He is more like the course before the amuse bouche.
As the article states, it’s from the Daily Star meaning it’s a load of bollocks.
if Arsenal sign this player i will cut my balls of and eat them!
Bon Appetite A-Mac!…..Jheeze…..whenwil people realise….it’s not about how tall you are….it’s about how well you play football on the FLOOR! The way football was meant to be played!
