Sergio Aguero Spares Argentina’s Blushes With Scorching Volley vs Bolivia (Video)

By Chris Wright

Despite being thumped 6-1 last time they played Bolivia in 2009 (chiefly due to the fact there is next-to-no oxygen in sky-high La Paz), Argentina were overwhelming favourites to sweep La Verde aside in their Copa America opener last night – though it didn’t go exactly to plan on home soil.

After falling behind when Edvialdo Rojas’ flukey 47th-minute flick somehow wriggled it’s way over the line (just), it was substitute Sergio Aguero that spared the host’s blushes 14 minute from time – lashing home a sweet volley from 14-yards…

Peachy.
