If you’ve ever wanted to watch Ross Barkley take a free-kick from every single conceivable angle, then now’s your chance muchacho.

Thanks to some superb camera work from virtual reality pioneers Laduma, the following clip of Barkley knocking balls around is fully interactive along every axis.

Yes, it’s essentially a promo for anti-perspirant, but you can use either the arrow-pad or your very own digits to manipulate the video to watch it from whichever point of view you so wish…

This kind of thing may be old hat to the tech-savvy among you, but it certainly impressed us – the Luddites that we be.

Indeed, it just so happens that BT Sport are broadcasting both the Europa and Champions League finals in 360° VR on their Youtube channel.

We might just have a dabble, if only out of sheer curiosity.
