ugh! this is why i turn down the volume when i watch mls. and there ought to be some kind of quality-check with sponsors naming stadiums. i know its newer over here but how the hell can these names command respect? *sigh*

would pay steve coogan $10 million a year to do commentary as alan partridge for MLS games. i would watch every minute.
it’s not so bad that the name of the stupid stadium is pizza hut park, it’s that the commentator makes mention of it. if the name’s that bad, just don’t bring it up.
@wolfusa … even the fox soccer commentators for epl matches make me cringe! the scottish guy’s alright, but the one that overpronounces every single non-english surname sets my teeth on edge. and he calls lucas leiva ‘leiva’…who does that? does he not ever watch matches himself? nitpicks there i’m sure, but its all so cringeworthy.
